Copy + SEO.
Technical copy that reads well and ranks. On-page, content strategy, and AI search optimization.
↳ ABOUT THIS WORK
Most 'SEO experts' sell you 3000 words of AI-generated mush and a report full of vanity metrics. I write copy a human actually wants to read, then make sure Google (and ChatGPT, and Perplexity) can find it. GEO — generative engine optimization — is where it's going. I build content that ranks in both classic search and AI answer engines. Sharp positioning, structured data, real expertise signals.
METHOD
04 steps- 01
Positioning
Before words, the story. Who are you for, who aren't you, what do you claim. One week of interviews plus competitor teardowns.
- 02
Keyword architecture
Primary pages, cluster pages, topic gaps. Target both Google intent and LLM citation patterns. Outputs: content plan + topic map.
- 03
Write
Human-authored copy. Zero AI filler. Research-backed claims. Original examples. Each piece reads like a senior expert wrote it — because one did.
- 04
Optimize + monitor
Technical SEO cleanup, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, AI citation tracking. Monthly report of rankings and AI mentions.
↳ WHAT I HAND OVER
The actual files, accounts, and docs you own at the end.
- 01Keyword + topic architecture (sitemap + hierarchy)
- 02Cornerstone pages (5–8 pieces, 1500–3000 words each)
- 03On-page SEO audit + fixes
- 04Schema.org structured data implementation
- 05Monthly ranking + AI-citation report
FAQ
04What's GEO? Is it just SEO rebranded?
Generative engine optimization — getting cited in AI answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini). It overlaps with classic SEO but rewards different signals: structured data, clear expertise claims, linkable sources. I optimize for both because traffic is splitting between them.
Will you use ChatGPT to write?
No. Everything is human-authored. I use AI for research and first drafts of throwaway internal notes — never for client-facing work. Bluntly: AI copy doesn't rank anymore, and it never reads well.
How long until I see results?
New content ranks in 60–120 days. Technical fixes can move existing pages in 2–4 weeks. AI citations are faster — often within a month if your expertise is clear.
Do you do link building?
No paid link schemes. I do digital PR — getting mentioned in industry publications, podcasts, niche communities. Slower but safe, and you get actual readers, not just backlinks.
