↳ THE CHALLENGE
Editorial travel, at publishing speed.
Good travel sites need a steady stream of content — but paying writers and photographers doesn't scale past a handful of destinations. Most online Malaysian tourism content is either stale government copy or English-only, leaving Chinese and Malay readers with almost nothing that feels native. The bar isn't quality vs. speed anymore; it's whether a one-person operation can hold both.
The hard part wasn't generating content — it was sounding human while doing it at scale.
↳ THE APPROACH
Two models, three languages, one voice.
GPT-5 drafts destination posts in English, then culturally adapts (not just translates) into Simplified Chinese and Bahasa Melayu — three distinct voices, not one text run through a translation API. Google Gemini generates the imagery with aspect-ratio controls and reference-image support. Everything routes through an admin approval flow in Supabase; no AI output ships without a human edit pass.
A merchant submission pipeline + an affiliate token layer turn the reader base into revenue. Content is free; the monetization sits on top.
